About Scheme

The scheme provides health care assistance to the employees of Government Departments, State Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory Boards, Local Bodies, State Government Universities etc., and their eligible family members upto the limit of Rs. 5.00 lakh in a block of 4 years commencing from 01-07-2021 to 30-06-2025. The financial assistance shall be enhanced upto Rs. 10.00 lakh for specified treatments and surgeries as in the Annexure-I of G.O.Ms.No.160, Finance(Salaries) Department, Dated:30.06.2021.

United India Insurance Company implements the scheme.

Coverage

Rs. 5,00,000 in a block of 4 years, enhanced upto Rs. 10,00,000 for specified treatments and surgeries as in the Annexure-I of G.O.Ms.No.160.

Eligibility

All the Employees of Government Departments, Public Sector Units, Co-operatives and Other Institutions / Organisations etc., and their eligible family members.

1. The employees of Government Departments drawing pay in regular time scale of pay including Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Aided Educational Institutions.
2. The employees of willing Organizations / Institutions registered under the Tamil Nadu Registration of Societies Act, 1975 covered under the New Health Insurance Scheme 2016.
3. The employees of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Boards drawing pay in regular time scale of pay.
4. The following family members of the employee shall be covered under the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2021:
   1. Legal Spouse of the Employee.
   2. Children of the Employee - till they get employed or married or attain the age of 25 years whichever is earlier and dependent on the Employee.
   3. Parents of the Employee, in the case of unmarried employee until the Employee get married, in case of a divorced employee not having children, until such employee gets remarried.
   4. Physically Challenged and Intellectually Disabled Children of th e employee without any age restriction, subject to the minimum of the handicap to the extent of 40% as certified by the District Disability Welfare / Rehabilitation Officer and wholly dependent on the employee.

Scope of the Scheme

The scope of the Scheme shall be to provide coverage for Eligible Medical Expenses incurred by the Beneficiary of this scheme during Hospitalisation for the treatments and surgeries listed in G.O.Ms.No.160, Finance(Salaries) Department, Dated:30.06.2021. The coverage under the scheme shall also include pre-existing illness.

Eligible Medical Expenses

1. Eligible Medical Expenses with reference to the Network Hospital shall include all expenses charged by the Hospital upon hospitalization till the date of discharge except Non-Admissible Expenses.
2. Eligible Medical Expenses with reference to Non-Network Hospital for Emergency Care and following Accident shall include all expenses charged by the hospital except non admissible expenses.

புதிய மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அரசு ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகள், அரசு பொதுத்துறை நிறுவனங்கள், வாரியங்கள் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் ஆகியவற்றில் பணிபுரியும் பணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் தகுதியுடைய அவர்தம் குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள் ரூ. 5.00 இலட்சம் வரை நான்கு ஆண்டு தொகுப்பிற்கு 01.07.2021. முதல் 30.06.2025 வரை சிகிச்சை பெற்று பயன்பெற வழிவகை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் அட்டவணை 1A குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள சிகிச்சைகளுக்கு ரூ. பத்து இலட்சம் வரை மருத்துவ சிகிச்சை பெற்று பயன்பெற அரசாணை எண்.160 நிதி(சம்பளங்கள்) நாள் 30.06.2021 மூலம் வழிவகை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் இத்திட்டம் யுனைடெட் இந்தியா இன்சுரன்ஸ் கம்பெனி லிமிடெட் மூலம் நடைமுறை படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

தகுதி

புதிய மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அரசு ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகள் அரசு பொதுத்துறை நிறுவனங்கள், வாரியங்கள் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் ஆகியவற்றில் பணிபுரியும் பணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் தகுதியுடைய அவர்தம் குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள்

1. அரசு துறைகளில் காலமுறை ஊதியத்தில் பணியாற்றும் ஊழியர்கள், அரசு உதவிபெறும் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பணிபுரியும் ஆசிரியர்கள், ஆசிரியர் அல்லாத பிற பணியாளர்கள்
2. தமிழ்நாடு இந்து சமய அறநிலை துறையின் கீழ் செயல்படும் வாரியங்களில் காலமுறை ஊதியத்தில் பணிபுரியும் அரசு பணியாளர்கள்.
3. கீழ்காணும் அரசு பணியாளர்களின் குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள் புதிய மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டு திட்டம் 2021 ன் கீழ் பயன்பெற தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள்
   1. அரசு பணியாளரின் கணவன் அல்லது மனைவி
   2. அரசு பணியாளரின் குழந்தைகள் - உச்ச வயது வரம்பின்றி, அவர்களுக்கு திருமணமாகும் வரை அல்லது பணியில் சேரும் வரை, உச்ச வயது வரம்பின்றி
   3. திருமணமாகாத அரசு பணியாளளரின் பெற்றோர்கள், அரசு பணியாளருக்கு திருமணம் நடக்கும் வரை. குழந்தைகள் அற்ற விவாகரத்து பெற்ற அரசு பணியாளரின் பெற்றோர்கள், அரசு பணியாளருக்கு திருமணம் நடக்கும் வரை
   4. அரசு பணியாளரின் குழந்தைகள் உடல் ரீதியான மற்றும் மனரீதியான மாற்று திறனாளிகள் அவர்களின் உச்ச வயது வரம்பின்றி உடல் ரீதியான மாற்று திறனாளிகள் அளவு 40% என மாவட்ட மாற்று திறனாளி அலுவலர் / மாற்றுத்திறனாளி அலுவலர் சான்றிடப்பட்ட வேண்டும். மேலும் அவர் அரசு பணியாளர்களை முழுமையாக சார்ந்து இருக்கிறார் என்றும் சான்று அளிக்க வேண்டும்.

திட்ட நோக்கம்

இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம் அரசாணை எண்.160 நிதி(சம்பளங்கள்) நாள் 30.06.2021 யில் அங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட சிகிச்சைகள் மற்றும் அறுவை சிகிச்சைகளுக்கு தகுதியான மருத்துவ செலவினை அரசு பணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் அவர்தம் குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள்(பயணாளிகள்) மருத்துவ சிகிச்சையின் போதும் பெறலாம்.

தகுதியான மருத்துவ செலவினம்

1. அங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட மருத்துவமனைகளில் தகுதியான மருத்துவ செலவினம் என்பது மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை முடிந்து வெளியேறும் வரை மருத்துவமனையால் வசுலிக்கப்படும் மருத்துவ கட்டணம் (தகுதியற்ற மருத்துவ செலவினம் தவிர)
2. அங்கரிக்கப்படாத மருத்துவமனைகளில் தகுதியான மருத்துவ செலவினம் என்பது அவசர தன்மை வாய்ந்த மற்றும் விபத்தினால் மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிப்பட்டு சிகிச்சையை முடிந்து வெளியேறும் வரை மருத்துவமனையால் வசுலிக்கப்படும் மருத்துவ கட்டணம் (தகுதியற்ற மருத்துவ செலவினம் தவிர).

செலுத்த முடியாத மருத்துவ செலவுகள் பட்டியல்
